Led by Aimee Applegate
Good for limiting food waste, reducing your shopping bill and enhancing so many other ingredients, the skills of preserving and pickling go back centuries. Chutneys became popular when samples were brought back from India, as well as the spices that make them so delicious!
Aimee Applegate comes from the heart of Somerset where she was surrounded by wonderful seasonal produce. She got into pickling, preserving and making chutney when faced with a glut of amazing fruit and vegetables that were too much to eat but too good to waste. She will teach you what you need to know to be able to create your own delicious versions of old favourites. No additives or preservative but with a long shelf-life - as long as you can resist eating them quickly. They make a fantastic gift as well, if you can bring yourself to give them away!
