Following requests from, customers, we are putting on a class that will concentrate on making fantastic versions of classic pastry dishes without using any animal products, which can be tricky without butter, cream and eggs!
Using her knowledge as an experienced pastry chef, Catherine has worked out different ways of producing excellent results. She will introduce you to a variety of pastries that normally depend on animal products and help you understand alternative ways to make them.
This class will give you lots of tips and information, as well as recipes to take away.

What will I learn to cook?
- Choux pastry from which you will make profiteroles
- Creme Patisserie
- Rough puff pastry from which you will make vegan sausage rolls
- Shortcrust pastry from which you will make a savoury Tarte tatin
What happens on the day?
- The class is a busy hands-on session.
- All ingredients, equipment and aprons will be supplied PLUS we will do the washing up!
- The small group size enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched. You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.
- This session will not include a meal but you will have plenty of goodies to take home.
