15th February - An Italian Feast
Eating out...with a difference
Brits love Italian food and see it as traditional and genuine. Though we do wind up the folks of Bologna with our love affair of Spaghetti Bolognese - Chef Peter will tell you why during the evening. It is easy to forget how far authentic Italian cuisine has evolved in this country since the 1960s when restauranteur Peter Boizot launched the first Pizza Express in London’s Soho.
Our resident musician Andrew Hurst will be playing an array of instruments to contribute to the atmosphere and Peter Vaughan will tell you more about the food you are eating.
