Have you ever wondered how Easter Eggs are made? Well, wonder no more. Come along for a fun morning learning the tricks of the trade while making your very own Easter Egg to take away.

This is a hands-on session to help you learn a new craft. Chocolate making can be done at home using a few easy to find tools and some good quality chocolate. It's a comfortable environment to come on your own and meet new people or come with friends - everyone there will share a love of chocolate.

What will I learn?

  • How chocolate shells are made - commercially and in an artisan kitchen.
  • Praline Filling - an easy and fun filling for the eggs, something a little different from your 'run of the mill' Easter Egg and it gives a 'how did they do that' vibe to the finished product.
  • Finishing Touches - fusing and finishing like a pro. Your egg will be rolled in a caramel chocolate and finished with an Easter stamp.
  • Presentation - packaged in a clear bag and tied with a ribbon for protection and impact.

What happens on the day?

  • This is a hands on session where you will make your own egg.
  • All ingredients, equipment and aprons will be supplied PLUS we will do the washing up!
  • The small group size enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched. You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.
  • You will take what you make home with you.

The eggs are dairy, wheat, gluten and refined sugar free. Not suitable for anyone with nut allergies.
