There are plenty of ideas and recipes around for vegan meals but we've had requests from our customers for help with mastering vegan baking, which can be tricky without eggs.

Using her knowledge as an experienced pastry chef, Catherine has worked out different ways of producing excellent results. She will introduce you to a variety of classic sweet treats that normally depend on animal products and help you understand alternatives ways to make them.

This class will give you lots of tips and information, as well as recipes to take away.

What will I learn to cook?

  • Aquafaba meringues
  • Cherry and ginger loaf
  • Elderflower and lemon cake
  • Chocolate brownies
  • Vegan tuiles
  • Vegan lemon curd
  • Vegan fudge frosting


What happens on the day?

  • The class is a busy hands-on session.
  • All ingredients, equipment and aprons will be supplied PLUS we will do the washing up!
  • The small group size enables you to get plenty of attention, whether you want to be helped or stretched. You will be working in a friendly and sociable environment.
  • This session will not include a meal but you will have plenty of goodies to take home.
